This project was undertaken to organize realms of parameterized data available in any Industry into easily manageable interactive catalogues. In this system, large volumes of parameterized catalogue data are used to generate the unique product ids (SKUs) through simple user interfaces. Complex business rules are defined within the engine, which helps the user to customize the search and locate the product being looked for. The first prototype has been developed with a very small database in MS Access. This can generate a maximum of about 7,000 SKUs. The working of the interface , i.e. the generation of the SKUs , has been developed with Java Servlets.
